The members of the Ottawa Rideau Speedeaus d'Ottawa are active in supporting causes and events of other groups in the queer community. We also have our own annual fundraiser event swimEAUthon, which is held during Ottawa Pride to raise money for worthy causes. Over the past 10 years over $78,000 has been raised for various 2STLGBQIA+ organizations in the National Capital Region with up to 40 swimmers participating each year.
