Ottawa's Inclusive Swim Club

The Ottawa Rideau Speedeaus d'Ottawa is an inclusive masters (adults 18+) swim club that welcomes 2STLGBQIA+ people and allies. We help members reach their goals — from recreation and fitness to competition — in a supportive, welcoming environment.

Our Mission

  • Promote the sport of swimming and the health, well-being and resilience of 2STLGBQIA+ communities in the National Capital Region;
  • Create safe, fun, inclusive and positive spaces for people of all skill levels to participate in swimming;
  • Foster friendship, camaraderie and connection among members;
  • Support like‑minded organizations with aims consistent with our community.
