After Practice Socials
Join our Facebook Messenger Group to find out when and where our next After Practice Social is. We regularly get together for food and drinks, as we get quite hungry and thirsty after practice. You don’t need to have been at practice to join us ;o) but let us know that you’re coming.

Several times a year we get together at someone’s house to sample everyone’s delicious food.
Other Social Events
We also get together for karaoke, rock climbing, movies, picnics and other social activities. If you want to propose and initiate a social event for the club members send an email to social@rideauspeedeaus.com.
In the Community
The members of the Ottawa Rideau Speedeaus d'Ottawa are active in supporting causes and events of other groups in the queer community. We also have our own annual fundraiser event swimEAUthon, which is held during Ottawa Pride to raise money for worthy causes. Over the past 10 years over $78,000 has been raised for various 2STLGBQIA+ organizations in the National Capital Region with up to 40 swimmers participating each year.
